The Last Time

And darkness will invade the skies
When the last star disappears
And tears will dry in eager eyes
Which longed for someone to be near
And breaking breathes between the sighs
End will come to restless years
Spent in pain but with silent cries
For he should not hear who was always dear!
A last glance at the arms
Untouched since the last embrace
A last look at the empty hands
To see fate smiling at the pale face
A last remembrance; the thought of him
His eyes, his smiles, his charming ways,
A last prayer; lord forgive his sins
Who forgot his promise made on that day!
And at last, I kiss the ground
And lay still on the stony bed
No more breathes, no chains, no bound
As peacefully I sleep to death
